Concrete pumping has long been used as a simple and affordable method of bringing concrete to the building site for all your construction needs. It is a vital part of the construction process and we take pride in the service we offer our customers when providing concrete pumping for their jobs.
Concrete pumping comes with lots of benefits for your project; for example, a 600m3 load of concrete can be pumped on site in under 15 minutes.
Because the pumps are movable the concrete can be put into the smallest of spaces and it is easy to work around any obstacles on site.
Concrete pumping is one of the fastest methods available and so it reduces waiting times meaning your crew won t need to stop working for long!
Concrete pumping is a cost-effective method and as there are very few spills it maximises every penny you spend and puts it back into the job.
In addition to these benefits, we have a wide range of pumps available so that we can complete all your projects without a hitch! Here at Pez Concrete Pumping & Liquid Screed, we can work with you to agree the best pump for the job and then give you the best service to ensure that you can pump as soon as we arrive on site.
We work with you during the process; from arriving with a well-maintained pump to the cleaning process at the end, you will be in the hands of experts who love what they do.
How to Manage a Concrete Pump
When you are organising a pump pour, you will need to know the type of pump and concrete required to complete the job to the highest standard. We are always on hand to offer advice and free quotes so that you are not left in the dark at any point during the project.
When planning a pump pour you will need to provide us with some information to get us started. We will need to know where you need us to go on the day, what time and the date you want to book us.
We will then work with you to find out the size pump you need, how much concrete you will need (including any additions to the mix).
You will also need to let us know what you need the pour for- for example, it may be for footings or external slabs. And then finally we will need to know if you have any other specific requirements.
When we have all this information, we will use it to provide you with a quote and confirm if we are available when you need us.
On the Day
On the day of your pour, we will get in touch to ensure the job is still good to go ahead and to check that you have prepared the site ready for our visit.
We will need you to have made safe access to the pump area and supplied a hard standing that is strong enough to support the maximum outrigger loadings of the pump.
You will also need somewhere we can place any surplus grout and your own team of people to level the concrete.
Our operator will need a somewhere to clean the pump out when they complete the job. At least 1/3 cubic metre of concrete will be left in the pump after the pumping operation
Finally, a source of water will help the operator when working but we can provide our own via the pump if needed.
